Programs and Events Intern

Women Photographers International Archive (WOPHA) seeks an intern to assist with the production of the 2024 WOPHA Congress. We are seeking qualified, emerging professionals to liaison between the Director of WOPHA and participating artists, scholars, and venues. Duties will include but are not limited to: updating event timelines, checklists, mailing lists, and other documents, and general support for the Director. The ideal candidate has an interest in Art History and Photography; working with diverse audiences and excellent written and oral communication skills. Preferences: Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus, but not a requirement. This position will work remotely six (6) hours a week with requirement of full availability during specific events’ dates. While the internship is currently unpaid, there will be an hourly pay of $10.00 for work during specific events’ dates.
