Join us for three immersive photowalks in Wynwood, the Miami Design District, and Downtown Miami as part of the WOPHA Congress, a creative convening and exhibition series held at the Pérez Art Museum Miami, with parallel activations across South Florida.
Led by the talented Clara Toro, Rose Marie Cromwell, and Nicole Combeau, these bilingual (English/Spanish), photography-based walking workshops invite participants to experience the energy of these distinctive Miami neighborhoods through the lens. During the morning session, photographers will guide you in exploring the rich imagery, public artworks, landmarks, and people of these areas, offering insights rooted in their expertise in street and documentary photography. Participants will learn tips and techniques from these experienced photographers and build visual literacy by sharing their photographs and comments on Instagram using the hashtags #WOPHACongressPhotowalks, #PhotowalksatCongress, and #WOPHACongress.
Transportation is available to take participants to and from each neighborhood where photowalks are taking place. Parking is encouraged at PAMM or nearby available areas.
Admission: Open to all, access to the Photowalks is free, thanks to the support from MPB, the world’s largest online platform for used photo and video equipment. Every participant will receive a tote bag and MPB gifts.
